Travelon® branded Anti-Theft bags and wallets have been manufactured to provide you with years of trouble-free use. Travelon warrants strictly to those original consumer purchasers, who for their own use or the use by another consumer end user, purchased a Travelon Anti-Theft bag and/or wallet (includes carry-on bags and toiletry kits) to be free from defects in material and workmanship up to two years from purchase for which the original consumers dated proof of purchase by an authorized seller is provided. In addition, the authentic Manufacture dated Label (as stated below) must be provided – without, the two year warranty will be voided.

All other Travelon® branded products (ex: travel accessories, waterproof, and packing items), including electronics, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase under the conditions described in this limited warranty statement.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from wear and tear, misuse (ex: overstuffing), neglect, abuse (ex: improper care- call us first or see our FAQs if you aren’t sure how to clean it), alteration, attempted theft, or damage caused by airlines or common carriers. Please also note we don’t warranty your lock when you forget the combination. We don’t have a master code once you change it from the factory code

This warranty is limited to the retail value paid for the product. Travelon has the right to replace with the same or similar product, or provide credit up to the aforementioned value. This warranty is also limited to original owner and original purchases from authorized sellers of Travelon products. The value does not include shipping costs.

Travelon does not make any implied warranties of merchantability or use for a specific purpose nor does the limited warranty apply to incidental or consequential damages. This includes but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, loss of personal items, replacement costs, loss of income, or identity theft costs. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages nor the extent of an implied warranty, so the foregoing may not apply to you.

Travelon does not accept returns of defective products to its warehouse and does not assume any responsibility for these returns. If your product has a manufacturing defect and you wish to submit a claim, please contact Travelon's friendly Customer Service experts at customerservice@travelonbags.com or 1-800-537-5544 and arrange to submit the following information:

1) Name, Address, Daytime Phone Number and Email

2) Photos of the issue and the bag (thank goodness for camera phones)

3) Photo of the Travelon authentic manufacture label (will be inside all items that are applicable for the 2-year bag warranty. Removal of this Manufacture Label from the bag will automatically void the warranty.

4) Please see below image for help locating

5) Provide proof of purchase receipt including date of purchase

Customer Service will review the visual proof submitted by you to determine if a replacement will be provided. If you purchased your bag at an independent retailer or department store, please return your bag to that store.

 


 

 

Warranty for purchases made OUTSIDE the US or Canada

Contact the Company that sold you the Travelon product and review their warranty and return policy. Most international sellers have their own policy and your purchase would be covered under their policy. Travelon warrants your Travelon Anti-Theft bag to be free of defects in workmanship or materials for one year from the original purchase date with a dated receipt from an Travelon authorized seller. Without the receipt as proof of purchase, Travelon warrants the bag for one year from the Manufacture Date as shown on the Manufacturer’s Label under the conditions described in this limited warranty statement. Removal of this label from the bag will automatically void the bag’s warranty. All other Travelon products, including electronics, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. 

If the product failure happened outside of the seller’s normal warranty period and within the one (1) year Travelon Warranty Period, contact Travelon’s Customer Service (customerservice@travelonbags.com). You will be asked to provide:

1) Name, Address, Daytime Phone Number and Email

2) Photos of the issue and the bag (thank goodness for camera phones)

3) Photo of the Travelon authentic manufacture label (will be in all items that are applicable for the 1-year bag warranty.) Please see FAQ for help locating.

4) Provide proof of purchase receipt including date of purchase

5) Confirmation that the product is no longer covered by the seller’s warranty


Travelon will make every effort to replace the defective product with a similar product or a product of comparable retail value (at Travelon’s discretion). If a replacement product is available, and you wish to have it sent to an address outside the United States or Canada you will be responsible for the international shipping and handling costs.

This warranty is designed to protect you against defects in materials and workmanship only. Like any product, your Travelon product will wear over time with normal use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or damage caused by common carriers. Travelon does not make any implied warranties of merchantability, or use for a specific purpose nor does the limited warranty apply to incidental or consequential damages.

Q: How do I clean my new Travelon bag?

A: If your bag is Microfiber, Polyester, Nylon, Cotton or Canvas

  • Spot clean only with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild fabric detergent.
  • Pat dry with a clean dry cloth.
  • Do not put in washing machine or dishwasher.

If your bag is Microsuede

  • Spot clean only with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild fabric detergent.
  • Pat dry with a clean dry cloth.
  • After the bag is dry, it may be neccessary to fluff the fibers to regain its suede texture. Rub the surface of the bag in a circular motion with a stiff, clean toothbrush.
  • Do not put in washing machine or dishwasher.

If your bag is Leather

  • Spot clean only with a gentle leather cleaner. We recommend testing your leather cleaner on a small, hidden area first.
  • Do not put in washing machine or dishwasher.

Q: How do I clean my RFID Blocking Wallet/ID Holder/Passport Case/Purse Organizer...?

A: There are no electronics in the RFID blocking feature in your Travelon product. Go ahead and clean it as you would a product without an RFID Blocking feature.


Q: How do I recalibrate my Travelon digital scale?

A: Your Travelon digital scale is recalibrated every time you press the / power button. Inaccuracy or malfunction is most likely the result of low batteries, or overloading.

If your scale is indicating the batteries are low, change batteries. If your scale indicates it is overloaded (weight capacity up to 110 lb. / 50 kilograms) remove excess load/weight immediately. Overloading can cause permanent damage.


Q: Will my RFID Blocking product set off airport security?

A: TSA's current regulations dictate that pockets are emptied and contents placed through x-ray screening, along with bags and other carry-on items. Your RFID Blocking product should go through x-ray. If you forget and keep your wallet in your pocket, yes, it will set off security screening devices.


Q: What frequencies does Travelon RFID Blocking protect against?

The Travelon RFID blocking products blocks transmission of this information when the cards are in the RFID blocking product, compartment or pocket, preventing unauthorized access. Our products are designed for use with RF Smart Cards, ID’s and Passports, which work on a limited range (i.e. Tap & Go / SpeedPass, etc.). These types of chips most often fall within the 125 kHZ (Low Frequency) or 13.56 MHZ (High Frequency) categories. The card or passport needs to be within touching distance of the reader in order to register the information that is embedded on the RF chip. Our RFID items are not intended to be used for purposes beyond the standard LF/HF scope for which they were developed.

Q: How do I set the time and other features on my new travel alarm clock?

GENERAL: This clock can be set to a 12hr or 24hr clock. In 12hr, PM will be displayed but AM will not.

BATTERY: Requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct location of battery noting polarity (+ and -) identified on the battery and compartment. When inserting the batteries for the first time, the clock may play a tune. If this happens, press the snooze button. It is recommended that the battery is replaced annually, even if the clock is still running.
Additional Notes:
Do not mix used batteries. Use only new batteries.
Avoid short circuiting the terminals of the battery.
Remove the battery during long periods of non-use.
Battery leakage and corrosion could damage the clock.
Remove exhausted battery from compartment.
Dispose of batteries properly.

SETTING THE CLOCK: From the clock display screen, press “SET”. The following will flash each time the “SET” button is pressed:
• Seconds
• Hour (in 12hr clock mode PM will be displayed, but not AM)
• Minutes
• Year
• Month
• Date
• [Return to clock display screen]

Use the “UP” and “DOWN” button to set the function.
Note: The Day will adjust as you set the correct date. The Temp is not settable.

SETTING THE ALARM:  Start from clock display screen, press “MODE” once. “Alarm” will be displayed. Press “SET”. The following will flash each time the “SET” button is pressed.
• Hour (in 12hr clock mode PM will be displayed, but not AM)
• Minutes
• Tune Select (Use “UP” and “DOWN” button to change choose from 8  different tunes)
• Press “MODE” 4 times to return to the time

Use the “UP” and “DOWN” button to set the function. In the time mode press “ALARM” to set/un-set the alarm. When the alarm activates press “SNOOZE” to delay the alarm for 6 minutes. Press “ALARM” to stop the alarm.
Note: The Day will adjust as you set the correct date. The Temp is not settable.

USING THE TIMER:
Start from clock display screen:

UP = To activate the Count Up feature:
Press “MODE” twice
Press “UP” to start the counter
TIMER display will be blinking
The small display near the arrow is in seconds
The larger display under TIMER is in minutes (0:01 = 1 minute)
Press “DOWN” to stop the timer
Press “SET” to re-set the time to zero

DOWN  = To activate the Count Down feature:
Press “MODE” three times
Press “SET” once to set the hour, press again for minutes (1 minute is the shortest time that can be programmed)
Press “SET” to confirm the count down time
Press “UP” to start the count down
When 0:00:00 is reached, a tune will play  
To turn off the tune, press “SET” or “SNOOZE”

Press “MODE” twice to return back to the clock display screen.

NOTE: After a short while the display will return to the time function.
