great purse! Review by Dr. P.

I bought this for a month-long trip to Ecuador in 2010. It soon became my everyday purse. On the trip, I was astonished by how much I could get into it: my rain poncho, a travel guide, my compact camera, etc. I LOVED having an organizer pocket on the front, with plenty of slots for cards (that actually held the cards securely). Easy to get to, plenty secure. Didn’t have to open my whole purse to find these (the ones on the inside of the main compartment are annoying). At the end of the trip, I mistakenly left my wallet on the counter, when I bought a snack at the airport. Didn’t discover it til later. I lost a grand total of $4. No cards, because they were all in the purse, which never left my body! I still have the purse, worn to a frazzle. Now I have a small MacBook Air, and it won’t fit into the purse. I’d love to see a similar version, just a bit larger, for my computer and new “bridge” camera. Guess I’ll have to make one. The smaller messenger bags out there are just a tad too small for my MacBook Air, and the ones large enough for computers are typically sized for the larger ones. I don’t want anything so big.

If you’re not carrying a computer, and have a compact camera, this one is perfect. (Posted on 5/16/2015)

Hello! I bought this bag in May 2013, originally so I could take it with me on vacation. I use it every day...my iPad fit in it fine, though the fit it tight...sometimes the inside pockets will catch it, but it's no problem. I like the organizing features, and though it is not looking perfectly new after constant (and not always easy...I put a lot in it...and to be honest it fits more stuff now that it did because of wear. I love it. It is comfortable, durable, and very useful. (Posted on 1/21/2015)

Love the size of the bag like the outside pockets. Super long strap mine seems to stay in place I know other people said it didn't but I didn't have that problem. My biggest complaint is the magnetic flap on the outside I wish I had another magnet so it stays flat on bag OR better yet I wish it didn't have a flap. (Posted on 10/4/2013)
A bit disappointed Review by Felicita

I purchased this bag from Amazon for my first trip to Europe. I used it prior to departing to familarize myself with all the neat compartments. I did not overload the bag since I was going to be doing a lot of walking and did not want a heavy load. I put into the bag ; cell phone, small camera, credit cards, tissue, and a few other miscellaneous items. There are two net bags on the side to unzip and use to hold a water bottle--which I found very handy. Just two weeks into the trip, the strap at the point of connection to the bag came unraveled. According to Travelon's web site the warranty only covers 30 days and I purchased this bag in July but did not use it until August.
Suggestions for Travelon: securely fasten the straps to the bag, work on the zipper for the credit card compartment, impossible to zip with one hand, have a secure ring to hold keys inside the bag; in the major compartment of the bag, have a small zippered pocket for holding valuable items. Great Protection Review by Dezi

I purchased this bag for a trip to Europe and it was perfect. I selected this bag because it had 3 locking compartments. Some of the other styles only have one locking compartment. I wanted to choose what part of the bag I wanted locked. I used the back pocket for my credit cards, money and passport. The front pocket under the flap I kept some money for quick purchases also my hotel key or sea pass card for the cruise ship. Both of those i kept locked at all times. The main compartment I did.not always lock, I kept my lipstick, comb, lotion etc that I didnt care if someone took. I love the side pockets for water, sunglasses or umbrella. I would highly recommend this bag, I use it every time I travel even in the USA. (Posted on 8/23/2013)
Great bag, but a little big Review by Sally Hansen

The bag is actually a bit bigger than the pictures or video make it out to be, but it is very high quality. Before you buy look at the measurements very carefully. While I would love to use this bag, I feel it is a bit cumbersome at times. It would be nice if they made a slightly smaller version, perhaps 9x8x3inches. Then again, I am a very short individual, so any purse larger than 9x8 looks a bit awkward on me I suppose.

As for the quality of the bag, the material is very nice, the design is very nice. One small complaint is that there is a bit of drag on the zipper. It is sometimes a little difficult to pull open and shut, which makes me fear that the material at some point may give way and rip in the future after so much use. Another complaint I have is about the adjustability of the strap. Because the material is so slippery, the adustable strap often becomes loose again and again throughout the day, making the purse uncomfortable to wear. I have to put a safetypin on it just to keep it in place. Also, while the little latches are great for preventing thieves opening the pockets, they are also a little irritating if you are in a hurry to open your purse to make a payment at the store. So prepare yourself when you get in line for the cash register. People may get annoyed having to wait on you opening your extremely secure bag ;) Beyond that, these are very minor complaints that will probably not bother most people, so I would highly recommend the bag. I rarely see bags of this quality in the store. (Posted on 4/1/2013)

I purchased this bag several months ago for my recent trip to Europe. I was so glad I purchased this bag because I did encountered a pickpocketer in Belgium. The pickpocketer had trouble unlatching the locking zipper. Therefore he was unable to steal nothing from me.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAG IF YOU ARE TRAVELING IN EUROPE. I felt very secure carring this purse. You will not be disappointed. (Posted on 10/25/2012)
