I own a lot of travelon bags and in the past, card slots and multiple pockets were standard. Not this bag. It has a rather small tablet sleeve - accommodates an 11. 5 inch tablet by itself, but not with a case. This is a silly detail to overlook in a bag design. There are no card slots anywhere in the bag, nor does it come with a zippered RFID blocking pouch (I have another recently introduced travelon sling bag that also skipped the card slots but at least provided the pouch). It has one large outside zippered pocket with a locking zipper, an inside zippered wall pocket and 2 open pockets that fit a cell phone. There is an outside zippered water bottle pocket that accommodates a tall/skinny 1liter bottle. Nice that the pocket zips shut when not in use. The locking d rings for the zippers on the main compartment are placed rather inconveniently near the top of the bag. This means that both zipper pulls must be hooked onto it for the bag to be securely closed. In past designs, the d rings were located near the ends of the zippers on both sides, meaning you could secure the opening by locking only one zipper pull. This means a lot in terms of convenience when one is having to do things in a hurry while traveling. I am wondering if the manufacturer actually takes these bag designs for "test drives" before releasing them for sale. On the plus side, the shoulder straps that zip up into a single cross body strap to convert from backpack to a sling that you can wear in front of your body is a good idea if you are in an area where pickpockets and bag snatchers/slashers are more rampant. The size of the bag is great for someone who has back issues and can't carry a big load around all day. It makes a nice day pack. The color is a little darker than what shows up on my monitor. It is more like an army green than the pastel mint green that it appears to be on my computer. Overall, a nice purchase, if you don't need a lot of organization.
